ROR1 - a new universal marker for cancer treatment

by www.lifescience-market.com | post a comment

ROR1 - a new universal marker for cancer treatment Most cancer markers also exist in normal cells, targeting drugs that are toxic to normal cells. ROR1 is a special marker because: (1) it is expressed only in the embryonic stage and does not exist in any adult tissue. (2) it is highly expressed in almost any type of cancer. Thus, in theory, highly targeted drugs targeting ROR1 can be used to treat most types of cancer without obvious side effects. For example, ROR1 is highly expressed by Triple-negative breast cancer (the most difficult to treat breast cancer type). ROR1 is highly expressed in Triple-negative breast cancer (B), but not expressed in normal breast tissue (A). Related products 1.
