BACKGROUND  

AGP 2 as transport protein in the blood stream. Binds various hydrophobic ligands in the interior of its beta-barrel domain. Also binds synthetic drugs and influences their distribution and availability. Appears to function in modulating the activity of the immune system during the acute-phase reaction.

SPEFICITY    

Anti-human AGP 2 antibody is a Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against AGP 2. This antibody has been selected for its ability to recognize AGP 2 in immunohistochemistry staining and ELISA.

APPLICATION  Immunocytochemistry in formalin fixed cells:  1:100-1:500

                  Immunohistochemistry in formalin fixed frozen section:  1:50-1:100

Immunohistochemistry in paraffin section:  1:50-1:100

Western blotting:  1:100-1:400 

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

STORAGE     Store at 4°C for frequent use. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
