GV3101 strain is C58 background, containing screening label, rifampicin resistant gene RIF in nuclear genes, in order to facilitate the transformation of the operation, the strains carrying nopaline type Ti plasmid pMP90 without its transport function (pTiC58DT-DNA), the plasmid containing vir gene (VIR T-DNA gene was inserted into the plant genome essential elements (pTiC58DT-DNA, pMP90) the plasmid T-DNA transfer function is damaged, but can be transferred to the binary vector T-DNA help smooth transfer). PMP90 (pTiC58DT-DNA) Ti plasmid contains screening Tags: Strep and gent, which endow GV3101 strains with streptomycin and gentamicin resistance, which is suitable for transgenic operation of plants such as Arabidopsis, tobacco, maize and potatoes.
